They really are the best, and you can fold them easily to a point to get into crevices without using a stick. If you need to saturate them they hold liquid really well.

Love using these. No little pieces of cotton ever getting caught on nails or skin and then ending up in the middle of what would've been a perfect manicure. And as a bonus, it uses less product!
